St Augustine's School, Kenilworth, UK
St Augustine's is a single form Catholic primary school on the edge of a small market town in the centre of England.
At our school, we welcome everyone into our community where...
We live, love and learn together in the light of the life of Christ.
We have recently launched our new website and you can find us at
http://www.st-augustineskenilworth.co.uk/
Our Comenius partners have sent us starter recipes and we have really enjoyed making them

or the grannies?
Reception had a lot of fun with bananas

Year 2 found
out about pears
Pear printing was a great success
And of course, pears were eaten, both raw and cooked!
In November, St Augustine's opened the doors to the latest pop-up restaurant
Global8
During the morning, the children created dishes from the recipes that our Comenius partners have shared with us.
In the afternoon, all the children were welcomed in to the restaurant to try the various dishes.
Children from Years 3 & 4 did a great job of serving and clearing the tables.
After school, the restaurant was open for parents. We had a queue to the end of the school path and managed to serve over 170 people in one hour!
It was a real family occasion and parents paid what they thought the food was worth. We raised over £400 for a children's charity.
It was an amazing, and tiring, day!
